Airing Sundays at 1:30 p.m. and Fridays at 10:00 p.m. on Waco’s PBS affiliate KWBU, “The Daytripper” features host Chet Garner as he travels across Texas to showcase the landmarks, dives and hideaways that make this state one of a kind. What started out as an Austin-based show called “The Austin Daytripper” has now grown to encompass travels throughout the entire state of Texas that can be done within one day’s reach.
