Hosted by the Belo Corporation, which owns the Dallas Morning News and several television stations in Texas, the final debate between the Texas GOP gubernatorial candidates is set for tonight at 7:00 p.m. Waco’s NBC affiliate will be airing the event and The Texas Tribune will provide live blogging during the course of the debate.
Former Houston Mayor Bill White and wealthy Houston businessman Farouk Shami, both vying for the Democratic nomination for governor, will debate on television Feb. 8.
Public television station KERA in Dallas announced Thursday that the station and its media partners have scheduled the hourlong Democratic debate for 7 p.m. on that date. The debate will take place before a studio audience with questions from journalists and voters. It will be broadcast statewide on television, radio and the internet.
